Hello, not having a great morning. Even after 15 months, I still have bad days.  However, I have more better days than bad, so seem to be getting somewhere.

Sending you a welcome

Hi Gill, The bad days seem to hit us like a cannonball sometimes, and more often than not its the silliest little thing that sets us off, its best to just accept it and ride the roller coaster, but on a positive thought, we know it will pass and we will get a few good days. Xxx

I do find that if I 'accept' the feeling, it seems to help it pass faster.  I guess its like I give myself permission to feel down, instead of fighting it I try and treat myself as I would a friend (so maybe I allow myself to watch a film, read a book, have a tasty meal etc, allow myself to not achieve as much)  I then find it easier sometimes to find energy to do something like a hobby - almost like the energy I've saved from not fighting the feeling has allowed me to start something which helps a better day come xx
