Hi I was widowed in February 2016. I never thought I would be a widow with 3 teenage boys at the age of 48. I lost not only my husband but my best friend. I live in a lively loud house where there is always something going on but I am always so so lonely. I miss David so much. I seem tiger through each day but if all was ok I wouldn't be writing this at 1.10 am. I am exhausted but can't switch off tonight and looked for a place to off load so hi everyone xx

Hi Diddy. Welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear of your loss.
I also find the loneliness ever present. We get through the days but even on good days we are aware that something is missing. I think we should expect that for quite some time if it ever entirely goes away. We have gone through an enormous change in our lives and I don't think it's something our brains can quickly adapt to.
Wishing you strength.

Diddy, like you I am new on here, I hope you will gradually feel better although of course you will never forget your husband. I think writing about your feelings will help, hope so anyway.

Hello Diddy- I'm glad you've found somewhere to off load in the knowledge that you're safe here and everyone just understands all you're going through.
