Struggling to know what to do. My best friend, who was a part of everything I do, and helped raise my kids while husband farms, died suddenly June 3rd. It's been four weeks. But I'm still not sure what to do. Was hoping time would help, but how much time? And I know there's no limit on how long it should take to grieve but I don't feel like I can ever recover from this

Sending a welcome hug xx

Welcome to the forum Plumhawk. So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
You ask how much time but that is like asking how long is a piece of string. We all grieve differently and take us as long as we need.
I can tell you that four weeks is no time at all. You dont think you can recover because you are in the very early stages of grief. It will get easier but its a slow process.
Wishing you strength

Sending a welcome hug  4 weeks is early days. Rather than focus on a timescale, concentrate on taking each day as it comes. Be gentle with yourself, some days will be particularly hard and sometimes we need to take a little rest to recharge our energy, just focus on little steps xx
