This is my first post here. My husband of 36 years died on 20th August. He had been ill for 5 years and I was his sole carer. I have two children but they do not live locally. As my social life has been restricted for a long time I do not have a lot of friends. I have been dealing with the mountain of paperwork as I am the executor of his will. Fortunately I have two dogs so they keep me company. There are a few things I would like to ask.

So sorry to hear about your husband. Sending you a welcome hug. I am glad you have your dogs for company. Pets are a comfort and help you focus on something else apart from your grief and help keep you going. I can sympathise about the paperwork. I had to do it all after my mum died. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Chances are someone here will have an answer that might help. Thinking of you. :hearts:
